“Nice campground with fairly good sized sites; some on the river. I liked that it has lots of greenery between sites for privacy. ”
“The campground is upkept and is in a lovely location. Finding my spot and the other amenities was very easy. I highly recommend. ”

Turlo Campground sits just off the Mountain Loop Highway on the south fork of the Stillaguamish River, among stands of tall fir, cedar and hemlock that shade the sites and muffle highway noise. The site is small 17 campsites in total and each site is set up to accommodate either tents or RVs (all 17 are both RV and tent sites). Basic comforts include picnic tables at each site, flush toilets and potable drinking water; there are no electrical hookups, so RV campers should plan on dry camping power arrangements. Campsites have direct access to the river for fishing or afternoon wading, and because the campground is managed through Recreation.gov you should be aware that once your reservation start date has begun neither the Recreation.gov Contact Center nor the campground manager can modify your reservation. For facility-specific questions or to confirm seasonal openings, call the local office at (360) 386-8214. The campground is a practical base for exploring the western Cascades: the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest offers roughly 1,500 miles of trails and a wide range of recreation, and the nearby Mt. Dickerman Trail climbs about 3 miles through dense forest to an alpine meadow and on to a 5,723-foot summit with broad views when weather permits. Along the Stillaguamish and its tributaries you'll find active salmon and trout runs chinook, coho, chum, pink and sockeye salmon, plus steelhead, sea-run cutthroat and bull trout so anglers often come prepared for a chance at seasonal runs. Other activities in the broader forest include auto touring, biking, boating, horseback riding, off-highway vehicle routes, winter sports and visits to historic Forest Service lookouts and the Verlot Public Service Center; Mount Rainier National Park is also within a reasonable drive for a day trip. To reach Turlo from the Seattle area, head north through Everett and follow the Mountain Loop/Highway corridors toward Granite Falls and the Mountain Loop Highway, where the campground sits near the river corridor.
