Robert O ★ 3 · Jun 2022Good campsite with the exception on the campsite on the trail down to the river. For some reason the powers that be decided to not maintain this site even tho its part of the park your paying $200.00 a night for. If your looking for good river access this sight is not for you. The trail goes down about 120 feet and runs directly into the river with no beach access. The tent pads are great and there is plenty of room for parking.

Tulalip Group Camp sits in an open, level clearing along Mountain Loop Road a short distance from the banks of the Stillaguamish River, within the greater Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest near the Granite Falls/Stillaguamish corridor northeast of Everett. The campground consists of a single group site (TOTAL CAMPSITES: 1) that accommodates both RVs and tents, making it a practical choice for one-family gatherings or small groups who want space and direct river access via a short trail. The site is framed by stands of cedar, fir, and hemlock and offers basic but useful amenities: picnic tables, campfire rings with grills, and vault toilets. There is no potable water on site, so visitors must bring their own water and supplies. The vista opens onto the river and, on a clear day, you can see Mt. Baker's snow-mantled peak in the distance; the area's undeveloped slopes and riparian zones are part of the wider wilderness that hosts species such as bull trout, sea-run cutthroat, and larger mammals higher in the forested hills. Recreation at Tulalip Group Camp leans on both the river and the surrounding backcountry: anglers fish the Stillaguamish and nearby Old Mill Pond for chinook, coho, chum, pink and sockeye salmon, steelhead and trout (fishing tends to be best in summer, with quieter autumn evenings for those seeking solitude), while summer and early fall are prime for hiking, picnicking and horseback riding on nearby trails. In winter the region switches to skiing and snowshoeing, and the broader Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest offers auto touring, biking, boating, off-highway vehicle routes, interpretive programs, wildlife viewing and access to historical fire lookouts. If you're planning a stay, reserve the single group site ahead of time and note that once your reservation start date has begun it cannot be modified; for facility-specific questions call (360) 386-8214.
