“Weather was quite dry. Fishing at Lilly Lake was pretty good with fly's and better with a white rooster tail spinner.”
“The fishing at teapot lake, closest to this campsite was epic. I loved the scenery and bird watching as well. Very clean and quiet camping spot (besides the highway running right next to it which calms down a lot in the evening) I recommend! ”

Lilly Lake Campground sits at about 10,000 feet along the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway, its campsites arranged on the shore of Lost Lake and within walking distance of Lilly Lake and Teapot Lake. The site is shaded by a dense stand of Engelmann spruce and lodgepole pine, with summer wildflowers brightening the understory and daytime temperatures commonly in the mid-60s to mid-70s, dropping to the 40s at night. The paved loop contains 13 single sites that are configured to serve both tents and RVs; each site comes with a picnic table and a metal fire ring, and vault toilets are available on site. For people who want more than an evening at camp, nearby trails, fishing spots and small-water paddling make day trips easy, while the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway itself provides longer auto-tour, hiking and winter recreation opportunities (cross-country skiing and snowmobiling are popular on the byway when conditions allow). Practical details matter here: the campground accepts Cash, Check, or Scan & Pay; individual campsites are $29 per night (site capacity 8 people and one vehicle), additional vehicles are $10 each, and day-use parking is $15. There are 13 single sites in total, all bookable through Recreation.gov; if you need to cancel, a $10 service fee is withheld from refunds and late cancellations (the day before or day of arrival) result in the $10 fee plus forfeiture of the first night's fee. Changes to reservations can incur a $10 fee when switching dates entirely outside your original booking, while extensions or shortenings that include original dates generally do not carry a change fee. Interagency pass discounts apply only to the recreation fee for individual campsites (eligible passes include Senior Annual/Lifetime, Access, Golden Age, and Golden Access passes) and the pass holder must occupy the site. No-shows are assessed a $20 service fee and the first night's fee is forfeited; refund requests may be submitted through your Recreation.gov profile within seven days after your reservation ends.
