Wolverine ATV Trailhead Campground sits a short spur off the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway, roughly 35 miles from Evanston, Wyoming, reached by following WY-150/UT-150 south and turning onto the forest roads that branch toward the Stillwater Fork area. The site is small and straightforward: there are 6 total campsites, and all 6 are set up to accommodate both RVs and tents. Each site includes a picnic table and a fire ring, and a single vault restroom serves the loop think basic, low-development camping rather than full hookups. The campground occupies a thin stand of pine and aspen, so shade is limited; summers bring grasses and wildflowers around the sites, but exposure can be greater than in denser timber. Practical details are simple and should be planned for in advance: single-site overnight camping is $20 (site capacity 8 people), day use is $15, an extra vehicle is $10, and trailhead overnight parking is $5 per vehicle. Payments are accepted by cash, check, or Scan & Pay (with the recreation.gov app). What sets Wolverine apart is immediate access to off-road adventures and a network of multiuse trails. The campground functions as an ATV trailhead, with fast access to local OHV routes and easy linkage to additional hiking, biking and horseback trails Christmas Meadows Trail for hikers and riders begins a few miles away while the Stillwater Fork nearby is known for fly-fishing for cutthroat and brook trout. The broader Mirror Lake corridor offers numerous alpine lakes, the Lower Provo River, and trailheads that lead into the High Uintas Wilderness for extended backpacking, fishing, horseback riding, biking, and wildlife viewing. Because the facilities are minimal, plan to pack in what you need for cooking, water, and sanitation beyond the vault toilet; also factor in extra-vehicle and trailhead parking fees if you'll be staging multiple vehicles or trailers.
