“Campground hosts this year are doing a fantastic job (last years' were good, too). The place was in good shape & picked up. ”
“Beautiful views, large sites, easy mile to the lake, bugs were not bad considering creek runs right thru the campground. One of my favorites. ”
“Large, level camping spots. Very well maintained grounds and bathrooms. Easy access to trails, rivers, lakes and Sisters. On-site camp hosts were very nice and went out of there way to assist us. The views are amazing. ”

Three Creeks Meadow Campground sits just below Tam McArthur Rim a short drive from Three Creeks Lake, an alpine basin lake at about 6,550 feet. The lake itself is a 28-acre, old-growth-fringed pool set in a glacial cirque; its shoreline ranges from gentle sloping banks to a rocky cliff and reaches about 28 feet deep in places. Anglers can fish from shore or wade, but most people launch non-motorized boats (motorized craft are not allowed) for better access to trout water. For hikers, the popular Tam McArthur Trailhead is nearby at Driftwood Campground and climbs to views of the Three Sisters (Faith, Hope/Middle, and Charity/South); beyond that, the Deschutes National Forest offers long trail systems, horse routes and scenic drives such as the Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway, and the town of Sisters south of which you'll find this campground via Forest Road 16 provides grocery, dining and outfitter services if you need supplies. The campground itself is small and straightforward: nine campsites that accommodate both RVs and tents, each furnished with a picnic table and a campfire ring with grill, and vault toilets are provided on site. There are no water or electrical hookups, so arrive with your own water and a self-contained power plan if you're camping in an RV or trailer. The site shares the meadow with an adjacent horse camp that is reserved for horse campers only, so you may see stock and riders in the area; be aware of stock traffic when choosing a site. Reservations are managed through Recreation.gov note that once your reservation start date has begun, neither the Recreation.gov Contact Center nor the campground manager can modify it and because the campground sits at high elevation, expect alpine weather swings and plan clothing and supplies accordingly.
