“RV only campground. All hookups available including water, electricity and sewer. Sites are large having been mobile home sites previously. All sites feel private. No public facilities or playground available. No day use area. Tussok caterpillars were a nuisance. We will return.”
“Our stay at Spring Drive RV Campground exceeded our expectations by a mile! We were expecting no water and no electricity, we had both! Our lot #8, was large, and shaded, private and private and private. ”

Spring Drive RV Campground sits on the southeastern edge of Mt. Hood National Forest at about 3,200 feet, surrounded by stands of pine and fir that give the small site a quiet, tucked-away feeling. The campground is intentionally compact there are seven RV-only sites and each site is described as spacious, with grass or paved parking, a picnic table, and a campfire ring with grill. Full utility hookups are provided, which makes it a convenient stop for families traveling in towable or motorized campers, but note that the facility does not offer toilet buildings or potable drinking water beyond what is available through those hookups; the campground is restricted to self-contained RVs and tent camping is not permitted. Deer and other wildlife are commonly seen around camp, and the setting feels more like a simple RV park in the forest than a backcountry campground. Recreational access is a strong point: a handful of short hiking trails begin nearby, and the broader Mt. Hood area including mountain lakes, streams, and historic sites is a short drive away. Spring Drive lies near the Warm Springs Tribal Lands and is roughly 19 miles from Government Camp, where summer snow skiing and other mountain activities are available. Because the campground sits inside Mt. Hood National Forest, visitors can tap into the region's offerings: biking, boating, climbing, fishing, horseback riding, interpretive programs, swimming, winter sports and wildlife viewing are all possible in the surrounding area (specific opportunities vary by season and location). The site's small size and RV-only policy make it a practical, no-frills base for exploring the forest; for up-to-date information on fees, reservations, seasonality and any access requirements, call the campground at (541) 467-2291.
