Spring Hollow Campground sits along the Logan River in Logan Canyon roughly 4 miles east of Logan and is reached from US-89 via the Logan Canyon Scenic Byway. The site is ringed by oak, maple, box elder and cottonwood, with summer wildflowers and wild roses carpeting meadows and a large pond tucked beside the campground shade is generous and autumn brings notable color. The river and onsite pond are where most visitors spend their time: trout fishing, canoeing or tubing on the Logan River are common, and several trailheads are right in the campground. Hikers and mountain bikers can start Spring Hollow, Mill Hollow, Crimson and Bridger Lookout Trails from within the loop, and the broader Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest also supports wildlife viewing, horseback riding and boating nearby. There are 14 campsites total: 11 single sites (each $27 per night, capacity 8 people + 1 vehicle), one double family site ($53, capacity 16), and two group sites Group B ($90, capacity 45 people and 9 vehicles) and Group A ($180, capacity 95 people and 20 vehicles). Thirteen sites accommodate both RVs and tents and one site is RV-only; roads and parking spurs are paved, drinking water is provided, and vault toilets serve the loop. Practicalities are straightforward but worth planning: fees may be paid with cash, check, or Scan & Pay through the Recreation.gov app; day use is $15 and extra vehicles are $10 per vehicle per day. Reservations and most policy management go through Recreation.gov (transactions appear on statements as "Recreation.gov 877-444-6777") or by calling 1-877-444-6777; for facility-specific questions call (385) 273-1100. A $10 service fee applies to reservation changes or cancellations, and late cancellations (the day before or the day of arrival in most cases) typically forfeit the first night's use fee for individual sites; no-shows can also incur a $20 service fee and loss of paid fees. Refund requests must be submitted no later than 14 days after your scheduled departure. Because conditions in mountain canyons can change seasonally, check Recreation.gov or call the campground ahead of travel for current availability and any local advisories.
