“Camp host lady was super nice and great sense of humor. I do wish there was some grass to play on or at least the weeds be cut shorter but the bathrooms were clean and everything was great”
“It’s always so nice up there and your camp 🏕️ hosts are excellent. Especially like your clean bathrooms and water 💧. ”

Strawberry Bay Campground sits at about 7,200 feet on the edge of Strawberry Reservoir, framed by low sagebrush-covered hills and scattered small pines that offer only limited shade. Most of the 274 campsites look out over water and rolling hills, and the shoreline and beaches make the campground a strong base for water-based activities: the reservoir is popular for boating, water skiing, canoeing and fishing for rainbow and cutthroat trout as well as Kokanee salmon. Strawberry Marina is just a quarter-mile away with a boat ramp, fuel, slips, power and pontoon rentals and a small store for bait and basic supplies; the campground's fees include use of the boat launch and the dump station. On land, the Strawberry OHV Trail System provides about 75 miles of routes for off-highway vehicles, and the area's hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding opportunities are well used; the nearby Visitor Center adds interpretive displays, a working fish trap and egg collection station, and a short nature trail for a bit of local natural history. The campground is large and varied, with a total of 274 sites: 271 are configured for both RVs and tents, two are RV-only and one is tent-only, and sites are grouped into multiple loops Loop A (44 sites), Loop B (23 sites, including the loop with several full-hookup RV sites), Loop C (37), Loop E (18), Loop F (45), Loop G (58), a group area of 6 sites, plus a long-term section of 42 sites. Site options and fees reflect that range: single non-hookup sites (232) are $39 per night (capacity 8 people, 1 vehicle), single full-hookup sites (26) are $50, double sites (25) are $77 (capacity 16, 2 vehicles), six group sites are $257 (capacity 50 each), and a large pavilion group site can be reserved overnight for $386 (capacity 100, accommodates up to 15 RVs) or used for day use on a first-come basis for $321 from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.; note that day-use at the pavilion is only available if there are no overnight reservations. Day-use fishing access parking is $15 and extra vehicles are $10. Campsites generally include tables, grills and campfire rings, and many sites have wind or covered picnic shelters; the campground provides flush toilets and drinking water but no showers, and firewood is available from the host. Reservations and most changes or cancellations are handled through Recreation.gov (or by calling 1-877-444-6777); there is a $10 service fee for changes or cancellations, late cancellations for individual sites also forfeit the first night's use fee, no-shows may be charged $20 and forfeit fees, and refund requests must be made within 14 days of departure. For facility-specific questions call (385) 273-1100, and you can pay by cash, check or Scan & Pay.
