“The camp ground was clean and welcoming, restrooms were, as always clean, well stocked and no flies, which is a plus, the only down side to the campgrounds, is that there is no drinking water available. Potter's is one of my favorite places to visit.”
“Nice camping spot. Far enough away from main road so the dust was at a minimum. ”

Potters Pond Campground sits at 8,900 feet in Upper Joe's Valley, immediately beside two small ponds framed by pines, wild grasses and aspen on the surrounding slopes. The facility is small and varied: 19 sites in all, with 15 that accommodate both RVs and tents and 4 reserved for equestrian use; sites range from single and double options to horse-friendly spurs. Most sites are shaded and a handful look out onto the ponds, while roads and parking spurs within the campground are dirt. The campground is reached via Miller Flat Road a well-maintained dirt-and-gravel route and lies roughly an hour's drive from Price when traveling through Huntington and along Highway 31, making it reasonably accessible for cars and many RVs even though there are no utility hookups. The ponds are the campground's main draw for water-based activity: canoeing is common and anglers target rainbow trout. On land, the area supports horseback riding, hiking and mountain biking, and the expansive Arapeen OHV Trail System is directly accessible from the campground, offering more than 350 miles of designated, maintained trails suitable for all riding levels. Campsites include picnic tables and campfire rings with grills, and vault toilets are provided; there is no potable water, electricity or trash collection, so you must bring your own water and pack out garbage. Reservations are managed through NRRS allow for a $10 service fee if you change or cancel a reservation, and note that late cancellations may incur additional fees (see NRRS Reservation Policy for full details).
