Reunion Flat Campground sits in Teton Canyon along Teton Creek, shaded by pine, spruce and fir with the occasional aspen and summer wildflowers brightening the banks. The site is compact there are a total of 7 campsites and all seven are set up to accommodate both RVs and tents, with gravel roads and parking spurs leading to each site. The campground is designed for groups as well as smaller parties: three group sites provide large picnic tables, campfire rings, grills and ample parking (Site A can hold up to 150 people; Sites B and C up to 65 people each), and there are four single-family sites for quieter stays. Vault toilets, drinking water and trash collection are provided and the campground is listed as fully accessible, but there is no electrical service on site, so plan on running on battery, solar or generators consistent with forest rules. Recreation at Reunion Flat links directly to the surrounding backcountry: the towering Teton Range and Jedediah Smith Wilderness rise just beyond the canyon, and trails that begin a short distance up-canyon at Teton Canyon Campground make this a good base for day hikes, backpacking and guided or independent horseback rides. Teton Creek offers fishing for brook and Yellowstone cutthroat trout, and wildlife viewers may spot deer and moose in the riparian edges. Beyond the campground, the Caribou-Targhee National Forest supports a wide range of activities biking, boating, OHV use, winter sports and more and nearby Grand Targhee Resort adds lift-served hiking and mountain biking, guided horseback rides, a climbing wall and an 18-hole disc golf course; Driggs hosts seasonal events such as the Teton Valley Summer Festival in early July. The campground lies east of Driggs, Idaho roughly a 9-mile drive toward the forest boundary and then a few miles on Forest Road 009 to the site and because seasonal openings, fees and reservation rules can change, check the Caribou-Targhee National Forest office or official website before you arrive.
