“Love this place and brought back the feel good memories from when I was a child camping with my parents and aunts, uncles & cousins. Great place. So peaceful and quiet (well, during the week anyway) and smelled so good. ”
“Beautiful, quiet campground with trailhead and water access right from the campground. Clean restrooms, available water.”

Noisy Creek Campground sits at the south end of Sullivan Lake about 90 miles north of Spokane and roughly 20 miles from the U.S. Canada border. The site contains 20 individual campsites, each configured to serve both tents and RVs, and most sites are set back a short walk from the lake and its designated swimming area. Practical amenities are straightforward: a boat ramp for launching, picnic tables and a group picnic area, metal fire rings, vault toilets, drinking water, and regular garbage service. The campground connects directly to the Sullivan Lake Basin road network (accessed via Highway 31 and the Sullivan Lake Road), so you can expect standard car access; for up-to-date information on fees, reservation windows, and seasonal openings check the Colville National Forest recreation website before you go. The lake and surrounding slopes define the campground's character and activities. Sullivan Lake covers 1,291 acres and plunges to about 320 feet in places; anglers commonly target burbot (ling cod) and Kokanee salmon, and fishing is generally most productive from a boat. Nonmotorized paddling canoeing, kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding is popular, and two well-marked trails start at or near the campground: the Lakeshore Trail, a 4.2-mile National Scenic Trail tracing the eastern shore, and the Noisy Creek Trail, which follows the creek for two miles before climbing toward the top of Hall Mountain (which rises to just over 6,000 feet on the lake's eastern side). Wildlife viewing can be rewarding individual Hall Mountain bighorn sheep sometimes move through the area, and cougars, bobcats and black bears are present in the region while stands of western larch, aspen and cottonwood produce vivid fall color. If you want to explore beyond the lake, the small historic town of Metaline Falls lies about four miles away, and nearby Crawford State Park and the Boundary Hydroelectric Project offer cave and power-plant tour opportunities in season.
