“This spot is not necessarily a tent friendly area. It is more for just a camp trailer”
“Beautiful views ! We had one of the campgrounds with a Picnic table, close proximity to the lake and rest room. ”

Willow Lake Campground sits at 9,640 feet on the east shore of a small alpine basin on the Wasatch Plateau, where stands of spruce, fir and aspen punctuate open meadows. The campground is compact TOTAL CAMPSITES: 10 and each of the ten sites is configured to accommodate both RVs and tents, with a picnic table and a campfire ring at every site. Most campsites offer pleasant views across the lake, though none have direct shoreline campsites; a short footpath leads down to the lakeshore and the main parking and information kiosk sits along Forest Road 022, with two additional parking areas a little farther west on Ferron Canyon Road. Roads and parking spurs inside the campground are gravel, vault toilets are provided, and there is no potable water or garbage service, so plan to pack in water and pack out waste. Because the area sits at high elevation and is reached via forest roads, check current road conditions and Forest Service information before you go. The lake is the campground's focus for summer activities: canoeing, fishing and shoreline strolls are easy from the camp, and a recently developed footpath loops all the way around the lake with four small stream crossings, two bridges and angler access points on every side. Beyond the immediate shore, Willow Lake serves as a staging area for the Arapeen OHV Trail System more than 350 miles of maintained routes for riders and offers mountain biking, hiking and wildlife viewing right out the gate; in winter the basin becomes popular with snowmobile users. Nearby reservoirs such as Ferron, Duck Fork and Wrigley expand fishing and paddling options, and Skyline Drive along the plateau provides access to many other lakes and scenic ridgelines. For fees, reservation policies and seasonal availability (snow can affect access at this elevation), consult the Manti-La Sal National Forest website or local ranger district before arranging your trip.
