“I had a very enjoyable time. Fishing was wonderful!”
“We needed an extra long camp site and the one I picked was exactly what I wanted. It was plenty long for my truck, trailer and ATV trailer. The campground was clean and well taken care of. The outhouses were clean and had no bad smell. ”
“The camp sites were clean. The restrooms were well maintained. The camp hosts are doing a great job.”

Bridger Lake Campground sits at 9,400 feet on the northern slope of the Uinta Mountains beside its namesake lake, where a thin stand of lodgepole and ponderosa pine with pockets of aspen offers limited shade and summer wildflowers dot the ground. The facility contains 29 campsites in total 27 sites that accommodate both RVs and tents and 2 RV-only sites arranged as 28 single sites (each $24 per night, up to eight people) and one larger double site ($53, capacity 16). Most sites are gravel with a picnic table and a fire ring; two accessible sites feature cement parking spurs and site pads. Drinking water, vault toilets, trash collection and an on-site camp host are provided, and some campsites have partial lake views. A small boat ramp on the shoreline supports canoeing, kayaking and other small watercraft, and a public dump station is located about a half-mile away across the road from Stateline. Payment is accepted by cash, check, or Scan & Pay through the Recreation.gov app; extra vehicle fees are $10 per vehicle and trailhead overnight parking is $5 per vehicle. The lake is stocked with rainbow and cutthroat trout, so anglers can expect straightforward shore or small-boat fishing; paddlers will find short, calm outings from the campground's ramp. Trails for hiking, mountain biking, ATV use and horseback riding thread the area, and the nearby China Meadows Trailhead provides a direct route into the High Uintas for longer backcountry rides and hikes. Wildlife is common around the water keep an eye out for moose and deer and the broader Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest adds opportunities for auto touring, picnicking, swimming, interpretive programs and more extensive trail systems. Reservations and changes are handled through Recreation.gov (or by calling 1-877-444-6777); a $10 service fee applies to most changes or cancellations, late cancellations typically forfeit the first night's fee in addition to the $10 service charge, no-shows may incur a $20 fee and refunds must be requested within 14 days of departure. For facility-specific questions call (385) 273-1100.
