“There is no sign for the campground or for Forest Service Road 500 on Burgess Road. The link for directions with Apple maps from Rec.gov are wrong, directs to a private road. Use Google maps.”
“The campground was nice and the bathrooms were the cleanest I’ve ever seen! Very dusty area! ”

Pringle Falls Campground sits on the banks of the Deschutes River under a mixed-conifer canopy about a half-hour south of Bend, reached by heading south on Highway 97 and turning west onto County Road 43; look for the campground sign on the north side of the road. This is a small, low-service site with seven campsites total each laid out to accept either an RV or tent so it works for a couple of trailers or caravans but never feels like a large developed park. There are no electric or water hookups and the site is explicitly a no-water facility, so plan to arrive with all the water you'll need for drinking and cooking. Every campsite includes a picnic table and a metal fire pit, and vault toilets are available in the camp area; because of the primitive setup and limited capacity, check current seasonal openings and local fire restrictions before you go. The riverfront location makes Pringle Falls a straightforward base for fishing and paddling on this stretch of the Deschutes; anglers and small-boat paddlers can launch from or near the campground and be on the water within minutes. Beyond the campground itself, Deschutes National Forest offers a wide range of outdoor opportunities hiking, biking, boating, horseback riding, OHV routes, winter sports and interpretive programs among them and you're within driving distance of major draws like Newberry National Volcanic Monument (about 45 minutes) and the Lava River Cave, as well as the 66-mile Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway. Because the campground has only seven sites and limited services, make reservations in advance via Recreation.gov and note the reservation policy: once your reservation start date has begun neither the Recreation.gov Contact Center nor the campground manager can modify your reservation, so double-check dates and plans before arrival.
