“Camp hosts the husband and wife team made our stay horrible. I hope they don't come back ”
“Great campground! Clean, quiet, lots of opportunities for hiking, and a nice beach area as well. Excellent cell service. Will go back for sure.”

River Point Campground sits on the west shore of Seeley Lake where the Clearwater River meets the lakeshore, and its 27 individual RV/tent sites are arranged in a one-way paved loop with paved parking spurs and a mix of open and shaded sites beneath towering Western Larch. Five of those sites sit along the riverbank, offering direct water access; the rest are a short walk from the day-use beach. Each campsite includes a picnic table, a fire ring with grill and a paved parking stall, and the campground is serviced by accessible vault toilets, drinking water and trash receptacles. Campground hosts are on site around the clock. Reservations are taken for the camping season beginning the Friday before Memorial Day and ending the Tuesday after Labor Day, when the gate closes; the nightly fee for individual RV/tent sites is $20.00. Parking rules are strictly enforced: vehicles must fit in the designated spur or the owner must pay an additional $5.00 vehicle fee and park in the day-use area no parking along roadways. The setting and recreation options shape most stays here: a spacious day-use beach with roped swimming area and several picnic sites is adjacent to the campground and open year-round from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. (day use is free and requires no reservation), while non-motorized community trails run through the site, providing easy bike or foot access into Seeley Lake and nearby forestlands. The Clearwater Canoe Trailhead just north of Seeley Lake provides a flat, roughly 3.5-mile downstream paddling route for wildlife viewing herons, river otters and frequent osprey and bald eagles though River Point itself has no boat launch. For hikers, the Morrell Falls National Recreation Trail on the east side of the valley offers a solid day hike through recent burns, dense forest and a sizable waterfall. Nearby Seeley Lake village supplies basic services and outfitters for boat, canoe and kayak rentals, and Missoula is the closest full-service city for hospitals and an airport; Glacier National Park is also within day-trip distance for alpine touring. The campground's ancient Western Larch stand and nearby Girard Grove (home to "Gus," a larch over 1,000 years old) give the place a distinctive, old-forest character that many visitors come specifically to experience.
