“Very quiet. Level pad with full hookups. Beautiful view of sunset”
“We loved the quietness of the park, but the grass needed to be mowed. The weeds were overrunning the sites. We were there on the July 4th weekend. The grass was overgrown throughout the park. I don't understand why the grass and sites were not mowed.”
“Small quiet campground. Small town with few food options and one grocery store. Larger town of Oxford 38min away. Small playground and there is not a swimming area. ”

Water Valley Landing sits on the wooded banks of Enid Lake in northeast Mississippi's Hills Region, about 56 miles south of Memphis and reachable from I-55 by taking exit 227 onto State Route 32 east for roughly 17 miles and then a short drive on County Road 53 to the campground. The lake itself is the product of a dam on the Yocona River and opens onto nearly 16,000 acres of water framed by roughly 44,000 acres of mixed forest; a public fishing pier below the dam and boat ramps make the water easy to access from the campground. Trails thread along the shoreline and into the surrounding woods, providing routes for hikers, mountain bikers and horseback riders, and the area regularly hosts organized fishing tournaments Enid Lake is notable for white crappie, bass and catfish and even produced the world record white crappie at 5 pounds, 3 ounces. The campground is small and family-oriented, offering 25 sites that accommodate both RVs and tents, with on-site modern conveniences such as full hookups and flush toilets as well as picnic areas with grills and tables. Boat ramps are located at the campground for launching, and there's a playground trail plus an interpretive trail for younger visitors or casual walks. Typical recreational options at Enid Lake include boating and other water sports, fishing, picnicking, wildlife viewing and horseback riding via the equestrian routes in the area. Camping fees changed on January 1, 2021, from $20 to $24 per night; reservation policies and seasonal availability aren't listed here, so plan to check with the managing office or park website before you go.
