Pat's Bluff sits on the southern shore of Sardis Lake amid the rolling hills of north Mississippi, where a sandstone bluff marks a distinctive shoreline silhouette and stands out against mixed hardwood and pine forest. The campground opens onto a broad reservoir that is especially prized by anglers Sardis frequently ranks among the top crappie destinations and also supports good bass and catfish fishing and the shoreline includes sand beaches and boat access. Pat's Bluff Recreation Area is an easy drive off Highway 278 east of I-55 at Batesville, putting the campground roughly 20 minutes from Oxford and about 10 minutes from Batesville, with the small towns of Sardis and Como also nearby. For broader park amenities, Sardis Lake State Park maintains a swimming pool, recreation hall, cabins and a golf course a short distance away from the campground. The campground itself has 15 total campsites all 15 are RV sites each served with water and electric hookups, and the site is set up for vehicle-based camping rather than primitive tent-only spots. Facilities in the campground include flush toilets, hot showers and an on-site dump station; Pat's Bluff also provides a group picnic shelter and a boat ramp for easy launching. Nightly fees are $20.00; because reservation policies and seasonal openings are not listed here, plan to contact the park or check current listings before you go. Beyond bank fishing and boat outings, activities in the Sardis Lake area include biking, hiking, water sports, picnicking, wildlife viewing, playgrounds and other recreational concessions and there is a privately owned lodge/resort nearby for those who want alternatives to camping.
