“Nice campground, well taken care of. Beautiful canyon surroundings. Beach is not too far away. Bear Lake is a Beautiful Blue Lake.”
“Overall it was a good experience. Clean and comfortable. Host was nice. Downside is the group site left dogs at the camp while they were gone for the day and the dogs barked all day long. It was annoying.”

The facility has a total of 19 campsites 18 family sites plus a single group site that can accommodate up to 100 people and every site is configured to serve both RVs and tents. Practical amenities are straightforward: paved roads lead to and run through the campground, and you'll find flush toilets and drinking water on site. The campground is a practical base for a wide range of outdoor pursuits. Trail access is close by the North Fork Trail connects to the Highline Trail #316, a 55-mile route along the Wasatch backbone that welcomes hikers, mountain bikers, horseback riders and motorcyclists so day trips and longer rides are convenient from camp. St. Charles Creek supports good fishing, managed by the Idaho Department of Fish and Game, and seasonal big-game hunting draws visitors during the appropriate seasons. A few miles from camp, Minnetonka Cave offers guided tours every 30 minutes daily from early June through Labor Day, and the Bear Lake National Wildlife Refuge to the north is a reliable spot for birdwatching. More broadly, the Caribou-Targhee National Forest around Cloverleaf provides opportunities for biking, boating, horseback riding, OHV use, picnicking, swimming and winter sports, so the campground works well as a low-key hub for whatever combination of activities you prefer check with the Caribou-Targhee National Forest office for current reservations, seasonal openings and additional details.
