“Camps are a little close together. But everyone was nice and it was nice being next to the river. ”
“Great campground! Nice creek runs along the east side of the campground where you can wade or fish. No service at the campground but the general store at Twin Lakes has free wifi”

Paha Campground sits along Robinson Creek at about 7,000 feet, roughly 10 miles south of Bridgeport off U.S. Highway 395 near the Twin Lakes area, and the setting is defined by tall Jeffrey pines and patches of lodgepole, sagebrush and summer wildflowers. TOTAL CAMPSITES: 21 most sites (20) are configured to accommodate both RVs and tents, and one is a furnished yurt listed as Glamping; within that total you'll also find several single-family sites (one ADA-accessible) plus two double sites for larger groups. Each campsite includes a picnic table, a food-storage locker to protect food from wildlife, and a campfire ring with grill; the campground provides flush toilets, potable drinking water and trash collection, and firewood is available for purchase. Be aware that reservations are non-transferable: re-selling a reservation makes it invalid, and anyone holding an invalid reservation will not be permitted to camp on the site. Recreation here centers on the creek and the nearby Twin Lakes basin: Robinson Creek offers easy, in-campground access for rainbow trout fishing, while Upper and Lower Twin Lakes only a short drive away are where people go for boating, canoeing and fishing for Kokanee salmon, rainbow and brown trout. Numerous hiking and horseback routes begin in the vicinity, including the Robinson Creek Trail and access into the Hoover Wilderness for longer treks; weekend educational programs take place at the Robinson Creek South amphitheater from July 4 through Labor Day. Beyond the immediate campground the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest provides a wide range of outdoor opportunities biking, climbing, hunting, OHV use, wildlife viewing and winter sports among them so Paha makes a practical base for anglers, riders and day hikers as well as families who prefer sites with water, toilets and managed services.
