“Very nice campground, lots of trees. The pit toilet actually smelled good.”
“Site #7 was so small and close to the next site, we decided to move campsites. While it was better over at site #13, more privacy and space, the proximity to the road made it too noisy at night and in the morning. We left early and stayed at a hotel for our second night.”

Willows Campground sits on the eastern slopes of the Cascade range at the southern end of the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, roughly 20 miles west of Naches along Route 12. The campground fronts the Tieton River, putting whitewater paddling and riverside fishing within easy reach, and it serves as a practical base for hikers and backpackers heading into nearby designated Wilderness lands. Summer and early-fall visitors will find abundant trail options for day hikes, mountain biking and horseback riding, while winter brings reliable snow for skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling on nearby routes. For day trips, the historic Jumpoff Lookout and the Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway a 66-mile mountain drive that climbs high into the Cascades are both accessible from this part of the forest, and the broader Okanogan-Wenatchee offers a wide range of recreation (from climbing and wildlife viewing to OHV routes and visitor centers) across its dramatic elevation range. The campground is small and straightforward: 16 sites in total, with 15 sites accommodating both RVs and tents and one site designated tent-only. Each site includes a picnic table and a campfire ring with a cooking grill; vault toilets and drinking water are provided, but services are limited and staffing at the location is minimal, so callers should use the general information line at (661) 702-1420 before arrival. Willows accepts reservations through Recreation.gov; be aware of the fee and cancellation rules cancellations made more than two days before your arrival incur a $10 fee, cancellations the day before or day of arrival are charged a $10 service fee plus forfeiture of the first night's fee (one-night reservations are nonrefundable), and no-shows are charged a $20 service fee plus the first night's rate. Refund requests must be submitted through your Recreation.gov profile within seven days after the reservation end date, with refunds returned to the original payment method (Treasury checks are mailed for cash or check payments and may take several weeks).
