Hanging Rock Campground sits on the south side of Highway 21 between Beaver and Minersville, Utah, with all six campsites arranged alongside the Beaver River so water views and river sounds are part of the stay. The river is a central feature here local anglers often praise it as some of the best fishing in Beaver County, and it supports year-round fishing opportunities. Low rocky hills surround the river corridor, and a short drive or hike in either direction opens views toward the Mineral Mountains on one side and the Tushar Mountains on the other, giving a mix of riparian and high-desert backdrop without a large developed footprint. The campground is small a total of 6 campsites and each site is configured to accommodate both RVs and tents, so groups with mixed rigs can camp together. Every site includes a fire ring and a picnic table, and sites 1, 2, 5, and 6 also have pavilions for additional shelter. Beyond those features, visitors should verify other services (toilets, potable water, electric hookups) with the managing agency before arriving. Recreation beyond fishing is close by: the Paiute ATV Trail and the Beaver Bench mountain bike trail system are located just down the road in Beaver. Because the campground is compact, availability can be limited; check current fees, reservation rules, seasonal openings, and road conditions with the local land manager prior to your trip.
