“This was cozy quiet little spot. The sites were well spaced and we had a view of the lake. So great.”
“Kelly, the camp host, was great. Attentive but easy going. The mountain is beautiful! Great hiking and riding. We love this spot. ”

Anderson Meadow Campground sits above the eight-acre Anderson Meadow Reservoir on the Fishlake National Forest and offers a compact, well-equipped spot for anglers and small-group campers. The campground has 10 total campsites all configured to serve both RVs and tents and sites are back-in only, sized to accommodate trailers from 24 to 40 feet. Each campsite includes a prep table, campfire ring and picnic table, drinking water is available throughout the loop, and two vault toilets serve the area. There are no electrical, water or sewer hookups on-site and no dump station; the nearest dump station is in Beaver. A camping stay is limited to 14 days. For up-to-date fees, reservation windows and seasonal opening dates, check the Fishlake National Forest office or recreation.gov before you arrive. The setting is a mix of aspen and conifers that provides varying shade across the campground, with most sites offering a fair amount of cover, and wildlife sightings elk, deer, black bear, moose, cougar and mountain goats are possible in the surrounding forest. Fishing for brook and rainbow trout is a primary attraction: you can fish from the shoreline or use a small non-motorized boat on the reservoir. The larger Fishlake National Forest offers a wide range of activities including hiking, boating, mountain biking, horseback riding and OHV use; the Piute ATV trail is nearby but not directly accessible from the campground, so plan to trailer ATVs to a trailhead. To reach Anderson Meadow from Beaver, head east on SR-153 for about 10 miles, then continue roughly 8 miles up Forest Road 137.
