“Beautiful campground with lake access for fishing, swimming, paddle boarding, etc. our dog loved swimming in the lake. The campsites are far enough from each other you have plenty of privacy. The camp host is very friendly and helpful.”
“The camp site was great. Only complaint is we had to tell the camp host to put toilet paper in the outhouses. He did put the toilet paper in but never cleaned then in the 5 nights 6 days we were there”

Kents Lake Campground sits high in Fishlake National Forest at roughly 8,800 feet, surrounded largely by an aspen stand with a scattering of conifers that creates a mix of light and deeper shade across sites. The campground offers 31 sites total, each designed to accommodate both RVs and tents sites range from back-in to pull-through and can handle trailers from about 24 to 60 feet long. Every campsite includes a grill or fire ring and a picnic table, and drinking water is available at several points around the loop; there are two vault toilets on site. There are no electrical or sewer hookups at the campground, so RV visitors should plan to use the nearest dump station in Beaver. Vehicle access comes off State Route 153 and Forest Road 137 east of Beaver; because conditions at high elevation can change with weather, check current road and access information with the Forest Service before you go. The campground sits adjacent to Kents Lake, a roughly 50-acre basin suited to small fishing boats and canoes; the lake is stocked with brown, brook and rainbow trout, all of which are catchable from shore or from a small non-motorized boat. Anglers will find easy shore access from many campsites, and wildlife viewers should watch for elk, deer and other species common to the Fishlake area. Trailheads for the Piute ATV trail system are nearby, though there is no direct trailhead within the campground itself, so OHV riders typically stage from other nearby access points. Beyond what's immediately at Kents Lake (fishing, small-boat paddling, camping and wildlife viewing), Fishlake National Forest offers a broader range of activities hiking, biking, horseback riding and designated OHV trails, interpretive programs and historic cabins/lookouts so plan itineraries accordingly and contact the local ranger district for up-to-date information on fees, reservations and seasonal access.
