LeBaron Campground sits high in Fishlake National Forest at about 9,900 feet, roughly 20 miles east of Beaver via SR-153 and Forest Road 137. The small site complex includes 12 campsites total 11 single units and one group unit and every site is configured to accommodate both tents and RVs. All sites are back-in and will handle trailers from 12 to 45 feet; each campsite comes with a picnic table and a metal campfire ring. Facilities are minimal: one vault toilet serves the loop, there is no drinking water on-site, no electrical or sewer hookups, and no dump station (the nearest dump is in Beaver). A designated ATV parking area sits on the west side of the campground to access nearby trails, and there is a 14-consecutive-day camping limit. Because of the elevation and forest-road access, check current road and weather conditions and Forest Service information before you go. The campground fronts LeBaron Lake and is a solid pick for anglers brook and rainbow trout are commonly caught from the shore or from small, non-motorized boats. The LeBaron ATV Trail (Forest Road 147) is immediately west of the campground and provides entry to multiple loop trails and forest roads, including routes that connect to the Piute ATV trail system. Around the sites, aspen and conifers provide variable shade (many sites are well shaded) and opportunities to spot large wildlife that inhabit Fishlake National Forest, such as elk, deer, black bear, moose, cougar and mountain goats. Beyond the immediate campground you'll find the broader recreation options of Fishlake National Forest hiking, biking, horseback riding and horse camping, hunting, boating, interpretive programs, visitor center services, and fire lookout or cabin stays but note that many of those services and seasonal availability vary, so contact the Fishlake National Forest ranger district or recreation.gov for current fees, reservations and access updates.
