“Space 7 is absolutely adorable. We left early but wished we could have stayed longer. SO we booked another stay later in the month. Both stays were amazing, quiet and relaxing. ”
“Spot 7 is absolutely the best spot to camp. There is flush toilets and potable water. All of the camp spots are very secluded and private. Especially spot 7. We will be coming back every summer <3”

DIXIE NATIONAL FOREST
Open in Google Maps ↗
Spruces Campground sits on the south shore of Navajo Lake where campsites open onto a small lakeside meadow and easy water access; the setting brings cool, crisp mountain air and clear views across the water. The loop contains 21 sites in all 18 that accommodate both RVs and tents and three tent-only sites each furnished with a picnic table and a metal fire ring. Basic comfort-level facilities include flush toilets, drinking water, and trash receptacles located within the campground. If you travel with an OHV or ATV, note that these vehicles are permitted only for ingress and egress between a campsite and the road; joyriding inside the campground and driving OHV/ATVs on the beach are not allowed. The lake is the campground's main draw: Navajo Lake supports canoeing, kayaking and fishing, and a boat ramp plus rentals, rustic cabin lodging and supplies are available nearby at Navajo Lake Lodge. For hikers and bikers, the popular Virgin Rim River Trail begins roughly a half-mile from camp, and there are additional local trails for day use. Spruces also makes a convenient base for exploring farther afield Duck Creek Pond and its visitor center lie about seven miles east, and Cedar Breaks National Monument is roughly a 20-minute drive (with Ashdown Gorge and old bristlecone stands just beyond). More broadly, Dixie National Forest offers a wide range of activities from auto touring and wildlife viewing to winter sports and OHV routes, so Spruces is a good quiet lakeside stop when you want water access and easy links to regional attractions.
