“Could not stay the night. Plans changed. Thank you so much.”
“Pleasant and helpful campground host beautiful setting facilities a bit dated but enjoyable just the same ”
“So sad to see the water level so low. Been coming here for 35 years! Water was shut down for 4 days which was an issue for e campers. We were thankful wdcould get Water from Duck Creek Visitor Center. Fishing was good but not great, as years past.”

Navajo Lake Campground sits along the south shore of Navajo Lake, about 25 miles east of Cedar City on Scenic Byway SR-14 and then a short five-mile spur south to the lake. The campground totals 27 sites: 16 sites that accommodate both RVs and tents and 11 tent-only walk-in sites. Each site includes a picnic table and a fire ring; drinking water is available from spigots and there are flush toilets plus an accessible vault toilet on site. A primitive dirt boat landing inside the campground serves smaller vessels, and nearby Navajo Lake Lodge provides boat rentals, a dock and rustic cabin lodging. Note that OHV/ATV use (including street-legal machines) is restricted to ingress and egress to and from campsites only joy-riding on the beach or through the campground is prohibited and you should check current road and seasonal conditions and any reservation or fee information on the Dixie National Forest website before you go. Recreation at Navajo Lake centers on water and trails: paddlers and anglers will find good canoeing, kayaking and fishing opportunities on the lake, and the dike is a popular shoreline spot for deeper water fishing. Trail access is a major draw the Navajo Lake Loop (an 11-mile loop popular with cyclists) starts from the campground, and the 32-mile Virgin River Rim Trail passes close by, open to hikers, mountain bikers and horseback riders and offering wide views toward Zion's Kolob Plateau and the Virgin River corridor. A short rim trail leads 3/4 mile to Cascade Falls, where water from the lake reemerges after traveling two miles through a lava tube. For other nearby options, Duck Creek Pond lies seven miles east, Cedar Breaks National Monument is about 10 miles away, and the Ashdown Gorge Wilderness and the ancient bristlecone pines of the Twisted Forest are within easy reach; for OHV trails and up-to-date recreational information consult the Dixie National Forest site.
