“My camping experience at Wolf Creek at Navarro. Mills Lake was excellent no complaints very nice clean lake easy to get around. Only problem was grass was a little high other than that quite enjoyable and relaxing. Highly recommended.”
“We were in Site 10 for 5 days. The ants were HORRIBLE!! Even after putting ant killer down they still got into the RV. The tree are over grown at the back of site so we couldn’t pull all the way back. It’s a nice park, but the ants are bad. ”

Wolf Creek Park sits on the northern shore of Navarro Mills Lake in central Texas, an easy escape for weekenders from the Dallas Fort Worth area. The campground has 73 campsites in total, and all 73 sites are set up to accommodate both RVs and tents; many sites are partly shaded by native oaks and mesquite, and there are also a couple of double sites and a group site for larger parties. Facilities at the park include public restrooms with showers, a dump station, a group picnic shelter and a fishing pier, plus a two-lane boat ramp with a courtesy dock; the broader lake area supports a full-service marina. To reach Wolf Creek, follow State Highway 31 between Corsicana and Waco and turn north onto the local FM roads toward the lake signs will direct you into the park. Fees, seasonal availability and reservation policies are not provided here, so check the official park website or call ahead for up-to-date rates and to reserve sites, especially during spring wildflower season and holiday weekends. Recreation centers on the water and the migratory life around it: Navarro Mills is well known to anglers for holding the state record white crappie at 4lbs 9 ounces, and people come specifically for crappie fishing as well as healthy populations of channel and yellow catfish and hybrid stripers that show up below the dam when water is released. Boating and other water sports are supported from the park boat ramp and marina, while the shoreline and nearby Liberty Hill fishing pier provide easy access for shore anglers. On land, birdwatchers can expect year-round sightings of songbirds, hawks, great blue herons, ducks and geese, and an occasional bald eagle; spring brings a notable display of native wildflowers including bluebonnets and paintbrush that draws visitors from across the region. The park also offers trails and informal hiking, a playground and other day-use features for picnicking, wildlife viewing and general outdoor recreation pack binoculars, a rod, and layers for variable Texas weather.
