Kellettville Recreation Area sits along Tionesta Creek in Forest County, in the wooded hills that surround Tionesta Lake. The campground is small and straightforward: 20 campsites in total 19 sites designated to accommodate both RVs and tents and one site set aside for tent use only so it's a compact option for anglers or families who want close access to the water without a larger park's crowds. Each site comes with a picnic table and a metal fire ring, and the loop is served by potable water, flush toilets and a dump station, making it practical for a mix of car campers and RV users (note: specific hookup types are not listed). The landscape reflects the area's history of timber railroads and Seneca place-names: hemlock and mixed hardwoods rise from narrow creek valleys, and wildlife viewing is reliable white-tailed deer, wild turkey, osprey and porcupine are commonly seen from the trails and shoreline. Recreation at Kellettville centers on creek-and-lake activities: in-season hunting is permitted in surrounding public lands, and fishing, canoeing and kayaking can be launched nearby; the broader Tionesta Lake area also offers boating, water sports, environmental education, picnic areas and playgrounds at other sites around the lake.
