“So many good things about this campground! The size of the spaces were generous. Our distance from neighbors was on the private side. Close proximity to bathrooms. And the trail / creek access was ideal. Loved the little swimming and fishing hole right by the campground. ”
“Nice camping spot. Swimming is fun but it does seem to bring people out that are not camping. They all park around the entrance making it hard to get out. TONS of nats toward the evening until sundown. ”
“We love bedrock! We wish there was a camp host but understand that it is not feasible these days. ”
This weekend (Fri, Oct 30 – Sun, Nov 1): First come, first served. The listing marks this stay first come, first served — no online reservations.

Bedrock Campground sits on a low terrace above Fall Creek in the Willamette National Forest, in a landscape that still shows the recent imprint of fire: the surrounding hillsides turn a vivid purple-pink in mid- to late summer when fireweed comes into bloom. The site layout is modest 23 campsites in total and most visitors will find space for trailers or tents, since 21 sites are configured for both RVs and tents while two are tent-only. Because the campground occupies a cooler, creek-adjacent spot, it draws heavy use on summer weekends from people leaving hotter lowland cities; expect a lively, often full campground atmosphere on those peak days rather than solitude. Bedrock is a jumping-off point for many of the forest's recreation options: you can camp here and easily access hiking, fishing, swimming and boating opportunities in the Fall Creek area, plus broader Willamette National Forest activities such as wildlife viewing, off-highway vehicle routes, horse camping, fire lookout stays, and winter sports depending on season. Amenities and seasonal access can vary, so check current fees, reservation policies and road conditions with the Willamette National Forest office or on recreation.gov before you go; because weekend demand is high in summer, plan for limited availability or arrive early, and confirm whether sites require reservations or are first-come, first-served for your dates.
