“The campground is very clean! The hosts were very communicative and available. Definitely recommend this campground if traveling to Glacier. Approximately equal distance to the West or East entrances from this campground which allowed access to more sites and activities. ”
“Gaven and Barb were outstanding hosts. The camp was immaculate and they were helpful in ways we were unprepared. ”
“Beautiful campsites, lovely creek, great hosts. Only drawback is the number of trains that pass on a nearby track.”

Devil Creek Campground sits along US Highway 2 in a tall conifer forest roughly 32 miles southeast of West Glacier and about six miles west of Marias Pass, putting it just south of the Canadian border and west of the Continental Divide within Flathead National Forest. The facility is small and straightforward: 13 total campsites, all configured to accommodate both tents and RVs (13 Both RV Sites & Tent Sites), with seven reservable sites and six first-come, first-served walk-up sites. Each campsite includes a picnic table and a campfire ring with grill; paved campground roads and paved parking spurs make access easier for trailers and tow vehicles. Accessible vault toilets and a drinking water source are provided, but the water is not a fill station RV users should plan to arrive with tanks filled. The stay limit is 16 consecutive nights, and the first vehicle is included in the site fee while a second vehicle is charged $5 on arrival. To reserve a site call 1-877-444-6777. The location is convenient for travel along Highway 2, which offers frequent opportunities for wildlife viewing and scenic drives between East and West Glacier, and Devil Creek Trail #167 leaves the campground toward the Spotted Bear Wilderness for hikers seeking backcountry routes. Activities across the surrounding Flathead National Forest include hiking, wildlife viewing, picnicking, camping, horseback riding and horse camping, hunting, mountain biking, off-highway vehicle use, swimming in regional waters, visiting fire lookouts or cabins, winter sports, and visitor centers many of which require a short drive from Devil Creek rather than being on-site. Reservation and cancellation rules are firm: cancellations made within the 4-day reservation window will be considered for a refund of camping fees only but automatically forfeit the first night's fee; day-of-arrival cancellations must be reported by calling Cheryl at 406-752-PWAI (7924) or 406-404-4164, and no-shows are not eligible for refunds.
