“The area was well kept, no trash anywhere. Restrooms were clean.”
“We have been to Cedar Ridge several times over the years. It's a pretty campground. We camp during the middle of the week, so it is usually very quiet.”

Cedar Ridge sits on the shores of Stockton Lake in the rolling hills of the Missouri Ozarks, a landscape of native prairie grasses, wooded ridges and water-filled coves that change color through the seasons and draw nesting herons, deer, wild turkey and wintering bald eagles. The campground contains 57 sites in all: 45 sites that accommodate both RVs and tents and 12 tent-only sites, arranged across three loops Loop A (36 sites), Loop B (9 sites) and Loop T (12 sites). Many sites offer electric hookups, and the park provides year-round conveniences including flush toilets, hot showers, drinking water and a dump station; the park is open every season, though current fees and reservation policies vary, so check with park offices or the official Stockton Lake resources before you go. For access, the park lies north of Bona and is reached from Highway 245 onto RA Highway, placing you within easy reach of the lake's nearly 300 miles of shoreline. Recreation at Cedar Ridge centers on the water but stretches across land as well. The campground has two boat ramps for launching, a swimming beach and an accessible fishing dock, and Stockton Lake's clear coves make it popular for sailing (the lake hosts several races), general boating, water sports and even scuba diving; anglers will find smallmouth and largemouth bass, crappie, white bass, walleye, catfish and sunfish. Three full-service marinas around the lake supply fuel, boat rentals, tackle and dining, and the broader area supports hiking, horseback riding, picnicking and playground space, plus privately owned lodges and other concession services. Wildlife viewing is a strong draw the park hosts an annual eagle-watching event in winter so whether you arrive with a boat in tow or on foot to camp under the trees, Cedar Ridge offers direct access to the lake's recreational variety and the quieter rhythm of the Ozarks.
