“We just love, love, love Warm Lake! Especially campsite number #9. We recommend this place to family and friends. We will be back next year! Thanks for such an awesome visit! 😎😎😎”
“Special. Great camp host. Squirrels take food from your hands. Weather was amazing, the lodge very friendly. Definitely a relaxing experience. Will return again.”
“Such a clean campground/site ! Would visit again. However, we didnt have anyone come to campsite 3 next to us which made it better. 3&4 are super close together and wouldn't have much privacy. ”

At about 5,300 feet on Warm Lake's eastern side, Warm Lake Campground sits among tall, old-growth ponderosa pines with Chipmunk Creek running along the site, offering partial shade and a steady soundtrack of water and summer wildflowers. The facility is small just seven campsites in total and each of the seven sites is set up to serve both tents and RVs, with a picnic table, campfire ring and grill at every site. Basic services include vault toilets, drinking water and trash collection; there is no electrical service. Roads and parking spurs through the campground are gravel, and the lake itself is not visible from the campsites, though Warm Lake Lodge and a developed swim beach are less than a quarter-mile away across the road. Recreation is a strong draw: anglers come for cutthroat, rainbow, lake and bull trout; boaters and paddlers can launch at the boat ramp in nearby Shoreline Campground; and swimmers have options at the lodge beach and at Billy Rice Swim Beach just over a mile to the north. Trails in the area support hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding the WeWuKiye (Wa Wu Kia) Trail No. 252 is accessible from Shoreline Campground, while Telephone Ridge Trail No. 112 provides about 20 miles of OHV routes with staging areas both within Warm Lake Campground and further up the road. Wildlife is abundant around the lake and forest reported species include bears, deer, elk, fox, grouse, eagles, osprey, grosbeaks, whooping cranes and otters so campers should store food securely. Warm Lake Lodge, directly across the road, has a restaurant and a small store for basics and fishing supplies. Fees, reservation policies and seasonal access are not listed here; contact Boise National Forest or Warm Lake Lodge for current details before you go.
