Findley Campground sits on the western shore of Jackson Meadow Reservoir in a rolling, pine-and-fir valley of the Tahoe National Forest, with views toward the Sierra Crest and English Mountain. The site is part of the Woodcamp Recreation Area and provides 14 total campsites; all 14 sites are listed as usable for both RVs and tents. Each campsite includes a picnic table and a campfire ring, and the campground provides flushing toilets and drinking water. Access is via Highway 89 north of Truckee to the Jackson Meadows turnoff, then west on Forest Road 07 to the reservoir; after crossing the dam you'll follow a paved/gravel road for a few miles into the Woodcamp Recreation Area. Because site details such as hookups and RV length limits aren't specified here, call the Tahoe National Forest office for specifics before arriving. The reservoir is where most activity centers: a boat ramp and a designated swim beach within Woodcamp make boating, canoeing, water-skiing, swimming and angling easy to reach, and anglers can expect rainbow and brown trout.
