“I always try to camp at the Park because of it's location near the River. My only concern is the condition of the bathroom/showers. I really wish it could be updated or a brand new one built. Regardless, I will continue to camp there.”
“Campground host was very friendly. Site 43 was perfect. Great setup. Bathrooms/showers were excellent, especially for the price paid. Will be back. ”
“Beaver Lake is why we come here. It has great water fun for SCUBA divers and water fun boating, tubing, fishing,, etc. The bathrooms are run down and need refreshed. the campsites are great and we love camping here!!!”

181 DAM SITE RIVER
Open in Google Maps ↗
Dam Site River Campground sits on the White River just below Beaver Dam, a short drive west of Eureka Springs in the Ozark Mountains. The campground's 58 sites are large and sunny yet offer plenty of shade from oaks and other native trees, and each site is set up to accommodate both RVs and tents. Sites are only steps from the shoreline, so mornings often start with easy access to the water; common conveniences include fire rings, picnic areas, potable drinking water and flush toilets that make overnight stays simple and comfortable without a lot of fuss. The immediate landscape is defined by limestone bluffs and natural caves, and flowering shrubs and mixed hardwoods give the area a distinctly seasonal show for photographers and birders. Recreation at Dam Site River centers on water and woods. The cold tailwaters below the dam are renowned for rainbow and large German brown trout, while nearby Beaver Lake's more than 28,000 surface acres support bass, crappie, bream, white bass, stripers and catfish. Several trails in the surrounding Ozarks provide options for hiking, mountain biking and wildlife viewing, and the broader area supports hunting in appropriate seasons and locations. On-water activities include boating, water-skiing, swimming and scuba diving; nearby marinas operate year-round and supply groceries, fuel, boat rentals, fishing guides and other services. For up-to-date information on fees, reservations and seasonal availability, consult the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Beaver Lake page before you go.
