“Our site was right on the water, beautiful views all around. Although it would be nice if they would include how far away the electrical and water hook ups are from the parking site. We had to go buy $150 extension cord... ouch”
“The roads were terrible, no phone service it really needed to be mowed and grounds cleaned!”
“Would have stayed longer, but had reservations down the road”

Edgewood Campground sits along the shore of DeGray Lake in the lower foothills of the Ouachita Mountains, where loblolly pine and hardwood ridgelines slope down to clear, blue water. The campground contains 50 sites in total: 37 that accommodate both RVs and tents, 9 RV-only sites, and 4 tent-only sites. Most sites are equipped for overnight stays with electric hookups 49 of the sites are reservable and the loop-level infrastructure supports a comfortable stay with flush toilets, heated showers, drinking water, a dump station and a small playground. A sandy swimming beach is adjacent to the campground, so families can move easily between their site and the water without a long walk. The big draw here is DeGray Lake itself: 13,500 surface acres fed by the Caddo River and known regionally for its clear water and heavy recreational use. Edgewood is well suited to boating and tow sports jet skiing, wakeboarding and water skiing are common and non-motorized options such as kayaking and shoreline fishing are equally accessible; the lake is regularly stocked and is noted for hybrid striped bass. Scuba divers visit parts of the lake, and birdwatchers will find hawks, woodpeckers, bluebirds and wood ducks along the shoreline. Park-scale amenities are close by: a visitor center, marina, lodge, swimming pool and the DeGray Lake Resort State Park's golf, tennis and horseback riding facilities are all part of the broader recreation area, and the Ouachita National Forest and Hot Springs National Park are a short drive away. For access, Edgewood lies off Highway 7 north of Interstate 30 (roughly the exit 78 corridor), then a short drive down Edgewood Road to the lakeshore.
