“We was in site 64 very nice spot great pathways to water. People in #62 played loud music until 11pm Like normal at most camp grounds people leaves trash & cigarettes butts everywhere. ”

Arlie Moore Campground sits on the north shore of DeGray Lake where the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains slope down to clear, deep water formed by the Caddo River. The campground is a strong choice for people who want lake access and trails in one place: DeGray is one of the region's five "Diamond Lakes," with about 13,500 surface acres of crystal-clear water, and the Arlie Moore Interpretive Trail once named among America's Top 25 Hiking Trails threads through the woods nearby. Boating, water skiing, kayaking, scuba diving and other water sports are the dominant draws; a boat ramp and a swimming beach serve the campground, and anglers can expect a variety of game fish, including an abundance of hybrid striped bass for both bank and boat fishing. If you prefer land-based recreation, miles of hiking and bike trails circle the shoreline, and wider-area opportunities include horseback riding, auto touring and wildlife viewing; the broader DeGray Lake area also supports resort amenities such as a marina, lodge and golf course. The campground has a total of 87 campsites: 38 sites that accommodate both RVs and tents, 30 RV-only sites, and 19 tent-only sites, and every site is equipped with electric hookups. On-site conveniences include flush toilets, hot showers, a playground and an amphitheater, and the park's visitor center and swimming pool are close at hand if you need information or want a more developed swimming option. Group camping and other park-wide facilities a group camp with a dining hall and eight sleep shelters, plus concessions operated in the park are available elsewhere within the DeGray Lake project. The campground is readily reached from Interstate 30 by following Highway 7 north and then a short drive on Arlie Moore Road; for current fees, reservation windows and seasonal availability, check with the park visitor center or the official reservation service before you go. Activities on and around DeGray include auto touring, biking, boating, camping, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, picnicking, playground use, organized sports at park sites, swimming, water sports, visitor center programs and wildlife viewing.
