Beth Z ★ 3 · Jul 2025Thought it was a very good campground even with the water bump turned off. The outhouse was very clean. The road was a bit tight in spots so definitely not the best for trailers and MH’s but we thought the campsites were well spaced and good sized. FYI, the campground is a good 45minutes off Hwy97.
Connie H ★ 4 · Jun 2025Bring ‘strong’ deet mosquito repellent. We bring 2 types + 2 or 3 citronella candles. This park is my favorite. Not really great for kids because there’s not a lot of places for them to play. It’s very hilly and steep drop offs. This park is great for folks wanting to disconnect and recover. Also, the bathrooms and the garbage dumpster is far apart from most sites, so you might want to bring your own portables. There was no water available this weekend, so carry enough water for drinking, cooking, and washing dishes.
yuen t ★ 3 · Aug 2024We were in site 15 and had a good amount of space. We were able to fit 3 tents on the site (total of 8) people in the back area and left the front portion for our chairs. The site was really well spaced out and we didn't hear other campers very much. The vault toilet was across our site and the water pump right in front us. The toilet smelled REALLY bad the first day but someone left the door open overnight I believe and the smell wasn't nearly as bad. Trash is pretty far from the site. Our site had a LOT of wasps/bees? Not sure which ones but they were getting into our food and swarming everything/everyone. We got really good at ignoring them most of the time but when we cooked it got really bad. They kept eating our uncooked/cooked meat. Access to the water is pretty steep. We had to go in from another area (outside of our campsite) to access. By the last day, we were the last ones at the entire campground since it was a Monday. We never interacted with the camp host. Not entirely too sure if there was one but we did see a truck on Saturday morning that may have been the host? We saw a deer come pretty close to us because it wanted water from the pump and a neighbor told us a black bear? was in the area on our first night. We never saw the bear, thankfully. Not sure if I would book this site again because of the bees/wasps but it was a fun time overall!

Lake Creek (Entiat River) Campground sits along a reach of the Entiat River where many of the 18 campsites look down onto the water as it tumbles toward the Columbia. All 18 sites are configured to take either tents or RVs, though there are no electrical or water hookups; basic conveniences at the loop include drinking water, CXT vault toilets, picnic tables and a few scenic overlooks. The tree canopy here is open enough to let in plenty of sun while still providing shade, and wildlife is common deer, coyotes and occasional bear sign have been reported, and salmon and steelhead continue to use the Entiat for spawning. Firewood is sold up at the Silver Falls area rather than at each site, so plan accordingly. Recreational access is the campground's strong suit: three multiuse trails begin adjacent to the campground and allow hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding and dirt-bike use where permitted, while the Silver Falls National Recreation Trail is a short drive up the river and offers a roughly 1.5-mile loop to a sizable waterfall. For longer trips, the Entiat River Trailhead about 12 miles from the campground is a common entry to Glacier Peak Wilderness routes for backpackers and stock users. The Entiat National Fish Hatchery is located near mile 6 on Entiat River Road, and the resort towns of Chelan and Leavenworth are a relatively short drive away if you need supplies or dining. Lake Creek is reached from Highway 97A between Wenatchee and Chelan via Entiat River Road (FS Road 5100) about 27 miles from the junction; check the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest website or local ranger station for current fees, reservations and seasonal or road-condition updates.
