“Very good ! Had a great experience..... Ray”
“Maple Grove was really nice. Great shade and secluded. The bathrooms were OK. The spot was level enough and the picnic table was in good shape. Never saw the camp host. Phone service was enough but not great.”
“Such a beautiful campground. The pull thru we reserved was a bit too small for our airstream, but it’s always about checking it out and planning for the next time. A secret gem. ”

Maple Grove Campground sits at the base of the Pahvant Range in central Utah, where a thread of Ivie Creek runs gently through a grove of maples, cottonwoods, box elder, oak and pine and red cliffs rise above the valley. The site is compact but varied: there are 22 total campsites, and each of those 22 accommodates both RVs and tents, so small rigs and family tents are common sights under the tree canopy. The 3.2-mile Rock Canyon Trail begins right in the campground and climbs to the Pahvant Range crest an accessible day hike that draws people who want some elevation and views without a long drive. Younger campers often spend afternoons fishing the creek for rainbow trout, and the nearby cliffs and creekside vegetation create a good setting for wildlife viewing and quiet nature walks. Facilities are straightforward and family-friendly: three reservable, accessible group sites come equipped with picnic tables, campfire circles, grills and water spigots, while several single sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis; vault toilets and drinking water are provided. Access is from U.S. 50 south of Scipio follow the Maple Grove Campground sign onto Forest Road 101 and continue about four miles to the campground so plan travel around current road conditions and check Forest Service information for fees and seasonal openings. Beyond the campground itself, Fishlake National Forest offers a wide range of recreation opportunities, including biking, boating, horseback riding and hunting, as well as interpretive programs, fire lookout stays, OHV routes and additional fishing and hiking areas, making Maple Grove a convenient base for a variety of outdoor pursuits.
