“we really enjoy our stays there. it's usually nice and peaceful. although some of the camper pads really need some attention to getting them leveled up. some are as much as 4 ins. off from side to side. other than that it's always been great. thank you 😊 ”

Brooken Cove Campground sits on the sandy beaches and low bluffs of Eufaula Lake's shoreline, surrounded by the rolling green hills typical of eastern Oklahoma. The lake itself 102,000 surface acres with more than 600 miles of shoreline on the Canadian River shapes much of the campground's character: some campsites open directly onto wide stretches of sand, others tuck into treed coves with rocky edges. From the nearby junction north of Enterprise off Highway 71, the narrow road signs lead you down into a lakeside setting that's popular with boaters and anglers. The campground has 75 total campsites: 73 sites accommodate both RVs and tents, while 2 are tent-only. Along the shore you'll also find a concrete boat ramp for quick access to open water, a playground for kids, a nearby marina, and two reservable group picnic shelters (one for roughly 75 guests and another for about 100) for family reunions or group outings. The broader Eufaula Lake area supports a long-standing fishery crappie, sand bass, catfish and black bass reach notable sizes in the lake, and striped bass over 40 pounds have been taken in the tailwaters below the dam so fishing is a prime reason people camp here year-round. Boating and kayaking are common from dawn to dusk, and hiking trails weave through the hills and along the shoreline for anyone wanting to stretch their legs off the water. Beyond on-site facilities, nearby attractions include two state parks on Eufaula Lake and Robber's Cave State Park (which offer golf courses, swimming pools and additional trail systems), plus the historic town of Eufaula and the towns of McAlester and Krebs for restaurants and antique shopping.
