“The campsite were good. The bathrooms were very clean and nice. Will definately stay there again.”
“Campground is very well kept. Bathroom was very clean ”
“We live close by but it's closer to our jobs than our home. It is a wonderful place to stay. We go to work everyday from here and don't have to worry about our things getting stolen or messed with. Get to see deer everyday. Not catching much fish but it's pretty peaceful. ”

LOST RAPIDS LANE
Open in Google Maps ↗
Lost Rapids Campground sits on the eastern shore of Pine Creek Lake, a 3,750-acre impoundment of Little River at the western edge of the Ouachita Mountains. The lake's unusually long shoreline about 74 miles creates lots of shallow coves and points that attract birds and wildlife, which makes the campground a favorite for birding and nature photography. The surrounding forest is managed for scenic quality and trails, so day trips from camp can include short hikes or horseback excursions through mixed oak and pine stands; interpretive and environmental-education opportunities are part of the broader park offering. Pine Creek's shoreline and habitat support a strong fishery: expect crappie, white bass, largemouth bass, channel and flathead catfish, and a variety of sunfish along the lake margins. Lost Rapids itself has 30 campsites, and each site is set up to accommodate both tents and RVs half of those sites (15) include electrical hookups. There's also a group campsite that includes 4 electrical hookups for larger parties. On-site amenities are straightforward and practical: flush toilets, drinking water, and a boat ramp right at the shoreline for easy launching. Common on-site activities include fishing, boating, picnicking and wildlife viewing; playgrounds and other day-use facilities are part of the lake's developed recreation areas nearby. The campground is reached from Highway 3, about 22 miles west of Broken Bow, with a short park access road leading to the eastern shore; for current fees, reservation windows, seasonal availability and any special access rules, check the park's official contact or reservation site before you go. Nearby destinations within a short drive include Beavers Bend and Raymond Gary State Parks and the historic Fort Towson ruins.
