“This was our third visit to this campground during the week it is amazing but once the weekend comes it is very loud and most campers follow the quiet times but there is a few who do not.”
“We had a great time camping at Canadian camp ground at Canton Lake, and will come back again in the future ”

Canadian Campground sits on the shores of Canton Lake in northwest Oklahoma, roughly 2.5 miles north of the town of Canton along Highway 58A and a short drive from the dam that crosses the North Canadian River. The campground shares the lake's wide-water opportunities: a gently sloping sandy beach for swimming and sunbathing, broad stretches of open water that are popular for water skiing, tubing and personal watercraft (especially the calmer corridor paralleling the dam), and excellent bank and boat fishing Canton Lake is particularly known for walleye and hosts a multi-day Walleye Rodeo each May. Around the recreation area you can stroll a nature trail, visit the overlook visitor center and outdoor amphitheater, drive the scenic loop across the dam (three dam-side pullouts with fishing jetties), and spot a resident prairie dog town; the larger landscape includes mixings of eastern cottonwood, post and blackjack oak, black willow and planted shade trees such as elm, sycamore and silver maple that give the campground pockets of shade. The campground itself contains 121 campsites in total: 43 sites that accommodate both RVs and tents, 77 RV-only sites and a single tent-only site, plus one day-use group picnic shelter. Family sites are equipped with electrical hookups, and visitors will find flush and pit toilets, hot showers, drinking water, two dump stations, three boat ramps and a playground on site. Services and supplies are available along access roads and at a commercial concession on the lake, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers operates several nearby project areas and facilities check their information for current fees and reservation policies. For hunters and wildlife watchers, the 14,862-acre Canton Wildlife Management Area lies close by and is open year-round for pursuits from dove and quail to deer and waterfowl; restaurants, a casino, a 9-hole golf course and state parks such as Roman Nose and Glass Mountains are within a short drive, and a disc golf course sits a few miles away.
