Mill Creek Campground sits along the White River Arm of Table Rock Lake in the rolling oak and hickory country of the Missouri Ozarks, with many sites right at the water's edge and the rest just a short walk to lake views. The park feels open and sunny, wrapped on three sides by water, and offers a total of 68 campsites 67 that accept both RVs and tents and one tent-only site so couples, families and RV travelers all find options here. Practical comforts include hot showers, drinking water, a dump station and electrical hookups at sites; there's also one large reservable group picnic shelter for gatherings. On the recreation front the campground has a swimming beach and a boat ramp for easy launch, plus a playground, basketball and volleyball courts that make it a straightforward choice for family trips. Recreation on and off the water is what defines a stay at Mill Creek. Boating, scuba diving, bass fishing (Table Rock is especially well known for bass), crappie, catfish and bluegill angling, wildlife viewing and general water sports are all readily accessible from the campground, and full-service marinas and nearby resorts add fuel and service options for boaters. Hikers can connect to the two-mile Table Rock Lakeshore Trail between the Dewey Short Visitor Center and Table Rock State Park Marina to see spring dogwood and wildflowers or fall foliage, and parts of Mark Twain National Forest offer additional trails and mountain-biking terrain. The Dewey Short Visitor Center with exhibits, films and a courtesy dock for boat arrivals and seasonal commercial boat cruises on the lake provide environmental education and sightseeing opportunities. Fees are charged at the campground and gate attendants can answer on-site questions but cannot make reservations by phone; to reserve a site call (877) 444-6777. Mill Creek is roughly 18 miles from Branson for groceries, gas and additional services.
