“Site is built on the side of a hill and difficult to walk around the RV during setup. Also fire pit is on the opposite side of most sites and you must use steps to get down to it. On a good note it has a great of of the lake area and marina.”
“Good spot to stay at shower was good but could be up dated some but all around Best camping spot I have been to”
“We stayed 4 nights and our spot was perfect! We lost power from a storm and it was back and running in no time. Would highly recommend! ”

Hickory Creek Park sits on the broad shoreline of Beaver Lake east of Rogers, Arkansas, where the Ozark Mountains' limestone bluffs and pockets of natural cave give the campground a distinctive rocky, woodland character. The park offers 63 campsites in total: 61 sites are configured for both RVs and tents and two sites are tent-only, and most sites are described as large and sunny with plenty of room for outdoor gear and activities and several shaded spots close to the water's edge. Campers will find basic comforts at the loop drinking water, flush toilets, picnic areas and campfire rings are on site, and a handful of group picnic shelters makes the park a reliable choice for family gatherings. The shore is just steps away from many sites, so early-morning fishing, launching small boats or a short walk to a lakeside picnic are all convenient from your campsite. Recreation at Hickory Creek is an extension of everything Beaver Lake offers: more than 28,000 surface acres of water and 449 miles of shoreline created by the dam mean boating, water-skiing and scuba diving are common pursuits, and year-round commercial marinas around the lake provide groceries, fuel, boat rental, fishing guides and supplies. Anglers will target largemouth and smallmouth bass, crappie, bream, white bass, stripers and catfish on the lake, while the cold tailwaters below the dam on the upper White River hold rainbow and sizable German brown trout. Several trails in the surrounding Ozark uplands provide options for hiking, biking and wildlife viewing, and upland game is available within a short drive for hunters who follow state regulations. For current fees, reservation windows and any seasonal access details, check the Army Corps of Engineers Beaver Lake information page or contact local marinas before you go.
