About

Devils Fork Campground sits on the shoreline of Greers Ferry Lake at the foot of Round Mountain in the Ozark highlands, where a dense mix of red cedar, black gum, red oak, elm, pecan and sweet gum shades the campsites and turns rich colors in autumn. The campground contains a total of 57 campsites: 55 both RV Sites & Tent Sites (each with electric hookups) and 2 Tent Sites, laid out across four loops Loop A: 6 sites, Loop B: 17 sites, Loop C: 17 sites and Loop D: 15 sites so you can choose a smaller cluster or a larger loop depending on the experience you want. On-site conveniences include flush and vault toilets, drinking water, showers and a dump station, plus a playground and a designated swimming area on the lake shore; nearby marinas around Greers Ferry provide boat rentals, fuel, food and supplies, and a trout hatchery below the dam stocks the Little Red River for anglers. Wildlife is active around the campground white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, rabbits, squirrels and a broad array of songbirds are commonly seen and the setting feels more forested than open, offering shade and quiet between water outings. For local campground information call (501) 825-8618; for general park information call (501) 362-2416. The recreation options here are broad: at the campground you can launch into boating and other water sports on Greers Ferry Lake, swim off the designated area, or let kids use the playground; the wider park supports boating, sailing, water skiing, scuba diving, fishing, hiking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Hikers will find three National Nature Trails and a multi-purpose fitness trail in the area for short walks or longer circuits, while the lake's more than 30,000 acres of surface and eighteen shoreline parks supply boat ramps, swim areas and marinas for extended water-based outings. Practical details such as current fees, reservation windows and seasonal closures are not listed here, so plan to call ahead for the latest policies and to confirm site availability; Devils Fork is reached just north of Greers Ferry on State Route 16, with signs directing visitors to the campground.
