Station Creek Campground sits at about 5,800 feet in the Snake River Canyon, roughly 27 miles southwest of Jackson along Highway 26/89, on the north side of the road where the lodgepole pine forest gives partial shade and summer wildflowers brighten the understory. The facility contains a total of 2 campsites both are configured to accommodate RVs and tents and are laid out as group sites that can hold up to 40 people each so expect large, open camping areas and dirt vehicle parking rather than closely spaced single sites. Vault toilets and piped drinking water are available on site, but there is no electricity or utility hookups; each site includes picnic and serving tables, campfire circles, grills and food-storage lockers, and firewood can be purchased at the campground. The Snake River is immediately accessible across the road and down a short embankment, and a public boat ramp nearby makes the area a convenient base for fishing and river runs: anglers commonly target cutthroat, rainbow and brown trout, while rafters and kayakers use the canyon stretches of the Snake. Beyond river activities, the campground's location provides a straightforward drive to Jackson (about 25 30 miles north) for groceries, dining and services, and Grand Teton National Park lies roughly 40 miles farther north for mountain hiking and boating. There are no on-site reservation or fee details provided here, so check the Bridger-Teton National Forest or recreation.gov for current seasonal openings, fees, reservation policies and fire restrictions before you go; also note the sites' dirt parking and lack of hookups when planning RV trips.
