“The campground was perfect. We were able to snag the site after a cancellation and was so happy to be able to stay within the park. We had beautiful views from our site and were able to walk to the trailhead for a hike to Broken Arch. The restrooms were clean. ”
“Beautiful campground, hosts were super friendly and helpful!”
“Sites are great! There's water and flush toilets at the campground, even a sink for washing dishes. Some sites are in low lying areas so be careful where you set up a tent.”

Devils Garden Campground sits about 18 miles up the park road from Arches' entrance (roughly 23 miles north of Moab) at an elevation near 5,200 feet, surrounded by the same red-rock fins, spires and natural arches that define the park. The loop contains 51 reservable campsites 47 that accommodate both RVs and tents, two RV-only sites and two tent-only sites and also includes two group sites and one accessible site. Roads and parking spurs are paved for easy vehicle access, and a campground host is on site. Basic amenities include flush toilets, potable drinking water, picnic tables and fire rings at each site, but there are no electric, water or sewer hookups, no dump station and no showers, so RVers should plan accordingly. Firewood isn't sold at Devils Garden; if you need campfire wood, buy a firewood coupon at the Visitor Center before you arrive. Sites are available by reservation check the National Park Service or recreation.gov for current fees, seasonal availability and any access notices. As a base camp for exploring Arches, Devils Garden puts you within walking distance of a number of trails and features: the Broken Arch Trailhead is inside the campground, the Balanced Rock loop is an easy 0.3-mile jaunt, and the walk to Delicate Arch is a steeper, roughly 3-mile round trip. The park offers a range of recreational opportunities beyond hiking auto touring on the scenic park road, road and mountain biking, climbing, horseback riding, historic and cultural sites, and of course camping and guided hikes of the Fiery Furnace are available for those who want a more technical route. The site vegetation mixes Utah juniper and pinyon pine with prickly pear, yucca and desert wildflowers, and the high desert climate means hot summers and cold winters; plan clothing and water supplies accordingly. If you want a change of pace, Canyonlands National Park and Dead Horse Point State Park lie within about a 45-minute drive of Arches' entrance, and Moab's restaurants, shops and extensive trail network are an easy trip back down Highway 191.
