“The campsites at Round Springs are excellent for tent camping. I boondocked in a small RV in site #14 but there were some sites that would not have been suitable for any size camper.”
“Some parts are closed for repairs. Beautiful park. So glad it is still open. ”

Round Spring Campground sits where the clear, spring-fed Current River runs fast and cold through a rolling, oak-and-shortleaf-pine landscape; you can step from many sites to canoe, tube, swim or cast a line, and outfitters for paddling are based nearby. The park's karst terrain is obvious here hundreds of springs and caves are within easy reach, and ranger-guided tours of Round Spring Cave run daily in summer; historic Alley Mill and Alley Spring are also a short drive away and open for tours in the warmer months. Trails for foot and horse like the Alley Overlook, Chubb Hollow, sections of the Ozark Trail, Cave Spring and Big Springs thread the surrounding forest, so visitors commonly combine paddling with hiking, wildlife viewing or a slow auto tour of the scenic riverways. The broader park supports a wide range of activities: camping, fishing, hunting, horseback riding, paddling, historic and cultural site visits, and wildlife viewing. The campground itself is open year-round and contains 60 sites in total: 51 are configured to accommodate both RVs and tents and 9 are tent-only. Sites are arranged across campground loops and group areas Group Sites 1 3 provide three group spots, Group Sites 4 9 add five more, and the primary numbered and extra loops (Sites 2 29, 30 49, E1 E6) make up 52 individual sites while paved roads and parking spurs make access straightforward for trailers and tow vehicles. Basic conveniences include flush toilets year-round, and coin-operated showers and shower facilities are available seasonally from April 15 through October 15; picnic tables, fire rings and grills are provided at each site, and an amphitheater hosts ranger-led campfire programs in summer. This location is unstaffed, so check current fees, reservation policies and road conditions with the park's main office before you go at (573) 323-4236; Round Spring Campground lies about 13 miles north of Eminence on Missouri Highway 19.
