“Sites were pretty close to each other. Overall a great time. ”
“Great views of the sunset over the lake. Camp host was super nice. Rec.gov needs to be updated for this camp ground though, most sites do not have water hookups. Dump station is across the highway. ”

Henderson Park sits along the clear waters of Norfork Lake, where wide, breezy stretches open into the lake's 22,000 acres and 550 miles of shoreline and give way to quiet, tree-lined coves that are well suited to water sports and more solitary outings. The North Fork River pours into the lake here and, past the dam, connects with the White River, creating a productive fishery bass, walleye, crappie, bream and catfish are commonly targeted from shore and boat. A marina and ramp at the park make launching straightforward, and several nearby marinas offer boat rental and supplies if you don't bring your own. Hiking options are close at hand: trails such as Robinson Point and David's Trail are a short drive away and offer photographers and birdwatchers framed views of the Ozark hills and the lake through changing seasons. Public lands around Norfork also provide hunting opportunities for licensed sportsmen, and the town of Mountain Home lies about 10 miles west along US Highway 62/412, convenient for resupply or a meal out. The campground has TOTAL CAMPSITES: 34, and the site type breakdown is 34 Both RV Sites & Tent Sites each site is equipped for both rigs and tents, with electric hookups and water available for filling holding tanks. Every campsite includes a picnic table, campfire ring and grill, making it simple to cook after a long day on the water or trail. On-site amenities focus on easy access to outdoor activities boating, fishing, water sports and wildlife viewing are primary draws, while hiking, picnicking, playground facilities, environmental education opportunities and even off-highway vehicle access are supported in the broader recreation area. If you reserve a site, note the campground's cancellation policy: cancellations up to two days before the reservation start date incur a $10.00 cancellation fee. For current conditions, availability and any seasonal advisories, check with the park before you go.
