“Very nice site with 3 separate drive up sites, one with an awning. Simi private, no other sites near by but road is fairly close.”
“It was an amazing location! The place was perfect!”

The Ledge Group Sites sit off Kane Creek Road about 10 miles from Moab, on a gravel/dirt route that drops down a tight, steep switchback and crosses several creek beds; because of that approach the campground is not recommended for vehicles longer than 22 feet or for trailers with long tows. There are three reservable group sites in this cluster each configured to accommodate both RVs and tents with capacities and fees posted individually: Ledge B (up to 30 people, $100), The Ledge group site (up to 40 people, $125) and Ledge E (up to 30 people, $125). The terrain here is exposed sandstone ledges with broad canyon and river views rather than shade, so the area is most comfortable in spring and fall; it's a popular staging spot for four-wheeling and dirt-bike groups because you can drive directly onto OHV routes such as Hurrah Pass, Amasa Back and other challenging backroads. Note that Ledge E requires crossing the Kane Creek drainage, which can flood during storms, so plan around weather and use caution on creek crossings. On-site amenities are basic but functional: each group site includes a fire ring with a cooking grate, picnic tables and vault toilets; there is no potable water, dump station or electrical hookups, and no shade shelters at the smaller B site (B works well for tent camping). Reservations must be made through Recreation.gov and the BLM Moab Field Office (435-259-2100) can help with changes or questions; expect a $10 fee for many types of reservation changes, a $10 service fee withheld on cancellations, forfeiture of the first night for late cancellations (less than 14 days) and a $20 service fee plus the first-night forfeiture for no-shows. Interagency pass discounts do not apply to group sites. Nearby attractions include Moonflower Canyon a shady riverside slot with a short hike to a small pool and petroglyph panels at the canyon mouth (please do not touch or deface the rock art) and the services and outfitting options of Moab about 20 30 minutes away. Pack out all trash, be prepared with your own water and fuel, and choose vehicle and timing to match the rough access road.
