“Beautiful area. Grounds are very well kept and bathrooms are clean. ”
“This is an exceptional campground! The entire site is very clean and well kept and the location/scenery is breathtaking. Thank you!”
“The campground hosts were very good and kept everything clean. The campground was quiet. Campground space#10 really needs to have the holes repaired. ”

Parksville Lake RV Campground sits on the shore-side side of Parksville Lake within the eastern reaches of the Cherokee National Forest, reached via a short drive east on Highway 30 off the Highway 64/411 corridor. The loop holds 16 campsites in total all are configured to serve both RV and tent camping and the sites are set under mature shade trees with noticeably generous spacing to accommodate larger rigs; several sites are laid out so two RVs can camp close together, and a handful back onto a small stream that runs through the loop. Each campsite has a picnic table, grill and a lantern post; water hydrants are distributed through the campground and a centrally located bathhouse supplies flush toilets and warm showers. Practical RV services include a dump station near the entrance/exit, and a separate area for group tent camping sits opposite the RV sites as you come in. Beyond the loop, Parksville Lake provides direct water access: sandy stretches for swimming and boat ramps for launching are only a short drive away, and the campground functions as a convenient base for exploring miles of hiking and mountain-biking trails in the surrounding forest. The Ocoee River and the Ocoee Whitewater Center the site of the 1996 Olympic whitewater events are nearby for paddlers and rafters, while the wider Cherokee National Forest supports a broad range of activities from fishing, wildlife viewing and picnicking to auto touring, horseback riding, OHV routes and interpretive programs. For up-to-date details on fees, reservations, seasonal openings and the campground map, consult the Forest Service Parksville Lake Campground Map and Guide available from the USDA Forest Service.
